What if this is your calling?

Yoga teacher training is not something you choose. It is something that chooses you.
It begins as a whisper.
A quiet knowing that there is something more waiting for you.
You try to ignore it.
You tell yourself the timing isn't right.
That you're not ready.
That someone else is more qualified, more confident, more capable.
Yet the whisper remains.
Because a calling does not disappear. It patiently waits for you to answer.
Then the unraveling begins.
The parts of yourself you've carefully protected begin to soften.
Old stories surface.
Beliefs you've carried for years are questioned.
The masks become too heavy to wear.
For a moment, it can feel as though you are coming undone.
But perhaps you were never falling apart.
Perhaps you were simply making room.
Making room for the teacher.
The leader.
The guide who has always been there, waiting beneath the fear.
You emerge changed.
Not because you have become someone new, but because you have remembered who you are.
Raw.
Open.
Whole.
Your scars no longer represent what broke you.
They become a testament to your resilience, your curiosity, your courage to grow, and your willingness to no longer stay hidden or quiet.
These are the stories your students will never read on a résumé or certificate.
But they will feel them.
I know because this journey created me.
Yoga teacher training changed the way I move through this world.
It gave me the courage to stand exactly as I am, imperfections and all.
It taught me that authenticity will always matter more than perfection.
This is my why.
To walk beside others as they uncover their own voice, discover their purpose, and become the foundation someone else will one day stand upon.
If something stirred within you as you read these words, don't dismiss it!
Sometimes a whisper is simply the beginning of everything.
